Type Rating Training – Citation Jet C525
Our type rating training is carried out in the classic CJ with basic FMS instrumentation. We provide differences training where required for other aircraft variants up to the CJ4 and with instruments up to the Proline 21 with its three-screen EFIS and FADEC.
The Course
Type rating training for the Citation Jet starts with 20 hours of ground school, led by Tom Shaw and including time with our highly experienced engineers. At the end of the third day you will complete two exams, one technical and one on weight, balance and performance.
The second part of the CJ type rating is flight training. In the 8 hours that follow, we will cover everything from emergencies, airways flying and asymmetric operations, to flying as an operator.
At the end of flight training you will be ready for your license skills test and instrument rating renewal. These are carried-out on site by our own staff.
Full Course
This option includes the full 20 hours of ground school, 8 hours of flight training, license skills test and instrument rating renewal.
It costs £14464+VAT including all fees (not accommodation).
Abridged Course
At the discretion of the head of training, we offer an abridged type rating course to individuals with turbine or turbofan experience on other types. Identical to the full course in most respects, it includes just 4 hours of flight training.
It costs £9859+VAT including all fees (not accommodation).
