Instrument Rating Revalidation/Renewals are conducted at the Bristol
Flying Centre over the weekend, with testing on Monday.
Customers are offered the alternative of completing on the FNPT 2
simulator or a combination of simulator/aircraft. Charges are listed
below:

|
Candidates taking the I/R and Type Rating Renewal on the aircraft
are charged one test fee i.e. £150.00.
The content of an I/R revalidation/renewal is now the same as the
Initial I/R, i.e. Departure (including pre-flight planning), General
Handling, En Route IFR Procedures, Precision Approach, Non Precision
Approach and Simulated Asymmetric (if applicable). One approach must
be asymmetric.
A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to secure an IR
or Multi Engine Renewal/Revalidation booking. |

Bristol Flying Centre operates a "Pay as you Fly" policy, so you never have to pay for an entire course upfront.
Please note that all prices are subject to the course being completed in the minimum hours. Extra hours are charged as per the Hourly Rates. Aircraft training (incl solo hire) is billed at airborne + 0.2. |
