Point of
Sale System at BFC
Bristol Flying Centre will be launching their new bespoke point
of sale system next month, the first such system for any flying
centre in the United Kingdom.
This will combine both accounts and flight training records,
which can be accessed via individual security swipe cards issued
to all students.
The hardware comprises of touch screen technology and thermal
printers - these give a clear visual aid to the student so that
they always have a concise record of their training activity,
and equally as important, they will have their most up to date
balance of account.
The system will significantly speed up the billing controls
and enable the student to have an accurate delivery of account
information, as well as giving the instructors the tools to
appreciate the business trends for future thought and consideration
with regards to Flight Training.
